Sugar-Free Hydration Jellies

Plant based - Keto Friendly - Gluten Free 

Makes approximately 12 jellies – have 3 gummies for 1 serving of Hydration powder. Recipe can easily be doubled. 


Ingredients

1/2 tsp agar agar powder 

1 cup water 

4 scoops Nothing Naughty Low Carb Hydration Powder 

1 Tbsp lemon or lime juice 

Directions

In a small saucepan, add half a cup of warm water and mix in your agar agar powder. Stir until semi-dissolved.

Add the rest of the water and put it on low heat, stirring continuously.

Once the agar agar powder has fully dissolved, bring it to a boil.

Let it boil for 1 minute, then let it cool for 1-2 minutes (make sure not to let it cool for too long as you don't want the mixture to start setting).

Add your electrolytes and lime juice once it's cooled for 1-2 minutes, and make sure they're well dissolved and mixed in.

Tip the liquid into your moulds straight away and leave them for about 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, put them into the fridge; they will take about 1 hour to fully set.
