In our opinion, this is the best tasting plant-based protein yet! Made from sustainably sourced Australian fava beans and blended at our factory here in NZ with all natural flavours and plant-based sweeteners. Fava beans (also known as faba beans or broad beans) are 90% protein making them an excellent source of plant-based protein and amino acids. Fava bean protein has a mild beany flavour meaning only a small amount of added natural flavour is needed to provide a great taste. With a light, fluffy texture our Lean Bean Protein forms a creamy blend when shaken with milk or water, blended into smoothies, yoghurt, baking or wherever your imagination takes you!

Vanilla Bean Ingredients: Fava bean protein isolate, natural vanilla flavour, guar gum, natural sweetener (stevia & thaumatain).

Not a fan of the vanilla

Vanilla flavour got a bitter after taste. Chocolate is pretty tasty though.

This has become our absolute favourite protein powder and pantry staple. I make a large smoothie for our family every morning which includes this, NN collagen vitamin C powder with banana, berries oats, dates and a dollop of coconut yoghurt topped with cold water. It’s not overly sweet or overpowering so works well with any flavour and seasonal fruit. We love it! Best DF protein powder out!

My absolute favourite vegan protein. No gritty texture, no weird aftertaste, flavourful and sweet and doesn’t give me a sore puku like other vegan proteins have. Dreamy, fluffy texture. Banoffee flavour is so yum, looking forward to trying out some other flavours with the single serve sachets too. Love!
